Not saying anything about Gravely itself, but just about 90% of the Gravely dealers around here are all total ****** bags... I don't know what it says about a company that will pretty much let anyone become a dealer with them just giving $XXXX amount of money, if that is true. I know other brands (non mower related) do their due diligence before becoming associated with a dealer. If their goal is to flood the market by money and volume, well....

The true XF2 serials over 22,000 I have seen have not one sight of any black on them, checked one of my competitors spindles Monday when he was getting gas when I was and also a used one 2013 22,001 serial full red no signs of anything black.

Like I said I have asked before if they had Xfactor 2 decks no one knew or the baffles.

If that one or any unit does have true XF2 deck there are no baffles on any probably pulled off sold as extra option.

He never notified me of the year of the models either which is gigantic nono, I already knew every commercial unit was 2012 and I only seen 1 2013.

No black primer but not completely covered in red paint.

This had nothing to do with a operating Rep. of Ariens/Gravely of info being found out I would just like to clarify that he somehow he knew it was me even though I have never mentioned my specific location, town, his name, dealership name, or his location.

As always Gravely / Ariens is there for you and they were here for me today 500% which is a normal for this company and I thank them so much.

Except for mowers, and you dont have any close access, order online. Even paying overnight charges would be less/the same as burning 2 hours of fuel.

Process of things are being worked out Mary and Ariens/Gravely are the best you could not ask more out of a company they treat their customers like they are the only one, each customer every time every day.

Way it was 11 years ago and still to this day there is never a downside they only improve their assistance and help more and more, I rarely ever have to contact headquarters but if I do there is always improvements of the best service from the last time.

Your chute opening is much wider than the one in my pic it seems and quite different.

Looking at the pic the one I took does not have the original sealing around spindles of the paint coating like yours also old front tires no run flats.

Bottom is yours

I am not sure what all is going on here with this dealer. It does sound as though some shady business practices may be involved.
As a retired, former Gravely dealer, I will say that without a doubt, the Gravely factory people care about there customers and will go out of their way to help them. I had only good experiences the 4 years I sold Gravely machines.
Now, about this dealers pricing. Lets be clear here, this dealer owns these machines and can set whatever price he wants for them. He could price them a double the MSRP, and there is nothing illigal or unethical about that in itself. It seems the dealer may not have a good grip on reality, but as a customer, all we can do is register our complaint with the manufacturer and move on to other dealers or other brands. That is our choice. Pricing is his choice.
I agree though, from the postings here, it sounds like there may be other issues with this dealer.

That's some shady stuff selling 2012 at 2014 prices. I purchased a 2011 Dixie Chopper Classic right out of the crate with no hours in 2012 and got $2600 off.

There's some dealers that pull shady stuff around here as well. One likes to sell Rotary, Oregon and Stens parts for OEM prices.
