Fabric is one of the biggest scams foisted upon the consumer and unknowledgeable landscapers.

+1. To be honest I don't even know why companies (that do know) want to even spend the time putting down fabric for mulch anyways. I get another service to charge but what a pain!
The looks customers give when you say you don't put fabric under that 3 year old much of theirs however is priceless

Probably wont get it (I dont get alot of callbacks from price shoppers, but close a high percentage of calls where they are home and I get to talk to them), but I refuse to bid them any lower. I would rather eat ramen noodles than cut them for any less.

On the contrary, I bid a Overseeding and Aeration job about a mile north of those 2 today as well, and picked it up. $75 to aerate 9,000 sq. ft. lot. and $225 to overseed an area about 750 sq. ft. And he signed up for fert @ $38 per app. X 5 apps. Met with him in person, was there about 30 minutes and signed everything on the spot.

I Know this is old...somehow got on this page--- I find it funny (think Kevin is out of the biz now) but he refused to mow for less---yet his name is MOWER FOR LESS.... redundant>?? lol

Anyone here use the Redmax TR2350S trimmers. Need opinion on how well they hold up to commercial mowing
