Is it worth it?

I've got 4600 bucks for a brand new dump trailer and wondering if it's really worth it to buy. The trailer itself is a really good price and well built, but I'm thinking maybe just continue to rent bins for $170 each time. I wouldn't be using it all the time.
What are some of the benefits of a dump trailer?

Pros:
Not having to wait for bin guy
Won't have to shovel out truck at dump site.
I do have a dump site I can dump for free.

Cons:
Maintenance
Still have to use my truck which is only a 1500 silverado that would be overloaded every time I fill it up.
I would have less room in my garage

If all you currently have is a 1500 I would wait til you have enough to justify a bigger truck. Until then it might be easier for you to just keep renting

My truck can handle the weight. It will be around the max it can handle if it's full. I won't be using it all the time either so I don't think I'll kill my truck that quick anyways. Just don't want to make several trips with my truck for bringing in material either. Hard to decide...

Brand new 3.5 ton dumper up here is actually $3399 + tax. Then I have to buy a tarp roller kit and a few other items. What kind of truck do you have dstifel?

Is a dump trailer worth it?

How many times a week/month/year will you need to use a dump trailer?
