Confusing a need and a want.

You work part time.

You need to afford advertising.

You spent your money that you needed for advertising to buy a mower that you do not have the volume of work for.

If you would of spent money to advertise first. You would be making the money to afford to buy a ZTR and have the work to need a ZTR.

Classic case of putting the cart in front of the horse. You should of just kept using the mower that you had.

If your not advertising its kinda hard to get some work. You dont have to be sending out a 20k EDDM plan or expensive adds, simple stuff H frame yard signs sticker for you truck or some door magnets small sign on your trailer tailgate thats all cheap stuff to get done. Even T shirts arent to pricy, i give mine to friends/ family who wear them all the time. For what i spend advertising, its pennies compared to what we make.

Good advice here, having shiny new stuff is cool. Not having work for shiny new stuff is not as cool.

You need to market your business to gain work, you need money to successfully market...... kind of a vicious circle
