Also has the same exact set-up as the Snapper I believe. It's offered in a Ninja Mulching system and a Hi-Vac set-up.

Snapper and Ferris are part of the same company now, same exact mowers. Anything snapper has could also be a Ferris and vice-versa

Snapper/Ferris are the same company..however you can be a ferris dealer and not carry snapper and vice versa. So Ferris is offering the 21" this way.

Can you get a Kawasaki engine on the Ferris?

Sure can, they offer the 37 hp dfi kawi on the 3100.
