Yea, me too. There are even fancier ones too. I might do something like that at my place. I worked at a place a couple of years ago where the "chain" was dead ended into a pot of river rock, and the pot was placed over the catch basin, completely hiding it. Looked real nice.

we used some 1" chain at a homestead remodel 2 or 3 years ago, copper gutters and flashing too...looked good
