I've used shoe glue on some Worx by red wings shoes before. Worked for the problem I had. The inner collar was separating from the outer part of the shoe. I don't know how it would hold up if the product were to be exposed to the elements.

two months later and the shoe goo failed after a month of light non work use

i vacumed heck out of inner sole area that had to be reglued to the upper toe peice and used plenty of goo then used a clamp to hold shoe in place 48 hours and it still failed

so i'll never buy this stuff again . im going with the roofing stuff my friend told me about
