New here, and a question...

Been lurking here for a few weeks, and decided to post a question. For those of you in the Southwest, Tx, Nm, Az, and maybe Nv. How do you acquire residential customers? Considering that there are a lot less lawns than say back east. Along the same lines do you make a decent living in these states even with the droughts, desert climate etc?

I'm not pro but, I would assume you definitely have to do more than cut grass. I suppose pruning and actually laying down grass would have to be something you know how to do too. So maybe knowing how to do those things could land you a couple of extra clients.
