OK, what if a cordless chainsaw had the same power as a comparable gas unit and 1 hour run-time. Would that change your mind? If they get the technology right -- I'd go cordless..

my nuts might shrivel up and fall off if I run an electric chain saw lol I love the noise smoke and power of a gas saw couldn't do electric, might be a good mothers day gift though

you might as well use a swazall. then you can do work around the house with it too. I have a Stihl ms210c, and I like it. nothing special about it, well built, simple saw. But, I find myself using my Dewalt 18v cordless sawzall some times. works just as well, anc can cut through dirt and not dull like a chain saw.
