Most likely for your sealer if only on your own property a basic trash pump set up will do. That is what you see from northern tool.
Seal rite sells the portabe (the pup) pump which can handle sealer and cold crackfill only. Ma 10 is for hot and not suitable for your walk ways (can be way to messy)

the seal coat the outfit used who came to do it the last few years must not use the coal tar as you mention as it barely lasts 6-12 months. so from what you are saying it definitely sounds like the coal tar is the better way to go.
what is the pro's and cons to using sand in the mix?
yeah I understood the MA-10 wasn't for sidewalks but for the parking lot cracks, is it a better brand or is there something else that might be better?
