Found this today at a house, although not in use.

I found this today while doing a mid season check. Although it is not used, I thought it interesting.

I had a few of them on old installs, but I don't remember the center wheel. The left-hand wheel set running time for the zones by adjusting the size of the opening that worked with the microswitches. On the two-wheel clocks I worked with, all zones ran for the same time.

I never ever saw one of those controllers fail, which might figure, being that the manufacturer also made traffic light controllers.

It still was operational. I messed with it to see. We did a new install in 2008 at this persons house, but never removed this. When I walked into the garage I knew what that was and opened it. It was still in working order!
