Bringing up an old thread.
More opinions on the Vanair please. Looking at two used 70 CFM Vanair compressors. I believe 2008 models. One has 400+ hours, one has 1400+ hours. The 1400+ is running a little rough but is running. He is going to have it looked at. Exterior could use a sanding and painting on both. Been serviced recently, belts replaced on both.

Possibly adding one or two to the fleet (TomTom may buy one). Want to get rid of the old 150 cfm that I don't like. Would like to fit it in the bed of the F150 or possibly one of the Rangers.

I would probably figure on re powering the one with 1400 hours. That is a lot for a gas engine.

Please explain "re powering". He had other work done as well. Some seals were replaced, and other work, but I forgot what he mentioned.
