Pricing Organic VS non-organic

Hey guys,
Wondering how much more expensive is the organic fertilizer application than the synthetic?
Thanks

The time release of organic fert sucks too, because the time release chemical binders in regular fert are light years ahead of what a granule of molasses mixed with cow manure is when rain hits it

1 - you saying "carbon-based" fertlizers are "synthetic?
2 - you "talkin turkey" cuz most "natural" organic fert = "chicken/turkey" manure.
a) takes alot to do the job
b) can contain pathogens harmful to humans
c) smells aweful
d) takes a long time to take affect
3 - do you think turfgrass really cares about the food source?
a) most land grant universities that I am aware of have quit testing manure in their test plots (for the most part)
b) the best turfgrass test plots I have seen during the past 2 years (land grant universities) = safe fertlizer developed for public areas (not chicken manure).

Source for: 2, a,b,c,d = "O.M. Scotts Company". Scotts deleted this information a few years back when they started Scotts Lawn Care, and when they started seling this "manure" to homeowners.

You will nolonger find this Scotts info on the web, but I still have hard copies. With Scotts -- it's all about the money.

Let's be clear here, there is a big difference between applying manure and operating a successful organic turf program.
