Same story here in NC, I gave instructions to them in writing and tell them both verbal and in writing that if they do not water it will not work or will take MUCH longer. Guess what? Today I spent much of the day doing follow-up and just looking at lawns, no mowing needed due to either lack of rain or recent aeration. Probably 50% have been watering, just look at the plugs, no erosion on the plugs = no watering. I had one guy tell me he had been watering the lawn, it crunched when I walked on it. When I pointed out the plugs looked like I just pulled them he started back stepping and changed his story.

I am sending emails and letters tomorrow to remind them one more time to water.
