I was at my local dealer today talking to the mechanic that was replacing the gears in the drive gear box. The Walker he was working on was a fairly new (this year). Seems there is a problem with excessive wear on the end of one of the gears. The one he was working on, all he had to do was clean the case real good, replace the gear and add a shim. But he said on some if the wear was worse he was to replace the whole gear box. He said that he had at least 6 units to look at in this area.

Now, my dealer is real good about letting their customers know about things like this. So some of you with newer Walkers might check into this.
