Looking to get back in, need more education

I ran my own kiddie lawn maintenance business for about 8 years... Then I got out and have been in the construction (management) industry for the past 7 years.

I need more education on landscaping and business, in my opinion, before I go full bore back into it. Plus, I need to rebuild my equipment.

What is the best way to obtain the required information needed? I was considering an online distance course, such as Thomson Education Direct, or someone like that, but I have no idea what kind of real-world application this is.

Also, should I start out like I did many years ago, with a truck, trailer and a walk behind, with a trimmer, or is it better to invest more at first and be more aggressive about rebuilding clients?

Unfortunately, I'm not in the same area, so re-gaining existing clients is impossible.

Thank-you in advance!!

Here's a couple of links for some good information. I've taken both courses and really liked them. I'd recommend the Certified Turfgrass Manager course first. Followed by this Certified Turfgrass Pest Manger course.
Good luck.
