You might want to think about a lawn equipment trailer now and if/when you buy a skidsteer build a bigger/stronger one. Also dont forget to consider what you will be pulling it with, a really heavy trailer will have its way with most 1/2 ton trucks.

Marine grade paint is a good idea.

Yea,.. I will indeed just start with a landscape trailer to keep my initial costs down. A friend of my Father was in the biz a few years back. He sold his equipment '02 but still has the trailer. So I will prolly buy that one at a big discount and mod. it to my liking.
