Is welding a tough thing to learn?
I am 16 and have never welded before. I have signed up for a weldding class at my school. Is it a hard thing to learn? Can you learn on your own how to weld or do you need to take a class.

Not hard to learn, but you need to take the class. It will give you a good starting point.

i have learned mig and am now working on tig and stick, you made a good choice by going to a school. Wise decision!!
i've done this on my own, one of the nicer things about a school is you don't have to outright buy equipment!!$$$$$ i have my own machines but i will eventually take a welding cert. course

Some people pick it up fast and some don’t. If you have a desire for it that’s a big help. Welding classes are great, always wear your safety gear! Good luck
