Some of our county trucks use Tymco on GMC Brigadier trucks. I've seen Elgin vacuums on trucks before, also. What you might be thinking of though, is something along the lines of a VACTOR. You can obtain the info on these through this link. http://www.agbody.com.I've been doing some research on sweepers myself, as I'm preparing to add this service to my grounds maintenance operations.

here's tarco's site!. I actually went to their plant over the summer, it's pretty nice and clean. our town and most towns are here use Tarco leaf vacs, even though leaf removal in town is done by loaders and not leaf vacs much. our town still has a bunch of the leaf loaders and the boxes. our parks dept uses giant vac ones. most local contractors use giant vac or the landscapers supply ones. hope this helps!

TARCO, BILLYGOAT, and GIANTVAC

Those are three good brands that put out industrial model leaf loaders.

Runner, I don't think he was talking about a sweeper but if you were wondering more about the tymco models, we have 8 of them here ranging from 1986-2000. If you have any questions about them I'd be happy to help you.
