Say an ad for 1 1/4 ton chevy pick ups 6.2 diesels from Clomans surplus in Pa .They wanted $8-9K has any one seen any for sale in the Boston area a little less expensive?

Well Im not in boston but those trucks are out in full force in southern california.. Ive heard of them going for anywhere from 3-4K on up to almost 10K.. its kind of outrageous, but I knew a guy that had one and it was a really killer setup.. Plus in california, the gov't/diesel thing can be a real plus

be careful with that. it may be an '86 with only 100K on the truck but im currently a corpsman with the usmc... have you ever seen a PFC drive? not pretty. but the maintenence is great.
