Zero-Turns- Ferris versus Gravely
I'm looking for a zero turn mower for personal use on 4 acres.
looking at 48" with bagger either 1000Z Ferris ($6500) or 148Z Gravely ($7100) Any thoughts on reliability, price.... I want a machine that will last, stays out of the shop, and cuts great even on some slight hills. Help! Intensity4Fish!

Price on Gravely seems high, just got a price on the PM152 52"\23hp model for $6599 and that was their asking price, seemed like there was room to negotiate!
Anyway the PM152 looked well built and included the onboard Eye-Q system and a hydraulic deck lift which is nice. For what it's worth.

Gravely is with bagger, so I think price is OK, but the deal on the Ferris seems the best.

What kind of bagger, the metal one that hangs on the deck or is it a 2 or 3 bag rear bagger?

Sorry, 95% sure on the Ferris at $6500 21hp Kohler w 48" deck and 3 bag system.
Dealer also pricing for me the IS with the 21 Kaw. and 48deck and the 23hp Kohler IS with 52inch deck. Same type of deal, and I may move up to the IS. Lots of money for cutting the lawn, but we're into it, and would like to do it quickly.
