Sod job /offered cement sidewalk bid

A sod job that I bid has turned into other stuff. Like irrigation ( I`ll sub the irrigation), now the owner mentioned he wants a sidewalk tore out and repoured in front . It`s something we usally don`t offer but looking at it as a good opportunity to get the walk job with the sod. He asked me if I knew anyone that did sidewalks so I told him we can probrably bid it for you. Anyone else run into cement work with their biz ?

sidewalk bus is definintely not a place that I would want to be around here. Good friend of mines dad is a builder and pays $40 per 4x4 section. Another friend of mine used to run a crew and he said that the best day he ever had was $600 in his pocket for 12 hours of work. Only time I have done it is pouring for steps to put pavers over and it's $100 a step and hardly worth it but it does make the pavers look awesome.
