licensed and insured

How do I go about getting licensed and insured? I'm in Illinios and Wisconsin.

As far as being licensed, check with your local village, and they can instruct you on that process. After that, you can get some quotes on business insurance fromInsurance carriers. I personally am using American Family, but there are many out there, so call to get the best rates for what works for you.
And the above licensing applies to village codes only, not in regards to applying fertilizers etc. Hopefully someone else can input more on those issues.
Hope this helps some.

Also, not sure if they have it up by you, but our village and local community college has a planning department which helps small businessed get started the right way, and they provide their services for free.
