I drilla hole in the rear of the tranny and screw in a grease zerk. Then pump in the grease 20 or 30 licks. There is nothing complicated about these boxes and pumping it full won't hurt a thing. running it with the old stiff dried up grease can . This is lots easier than disassembly and washing it out.
