Right hand spindle eating my spacers on 36inch toro walk behind

On one side of my toro wb the spacers for adjusting the blade height are slowly getting ground down the middle. My blades are balanced and tight, and there is little vibration. But it keeps doing it and I have no idea why. I almost afraid to find out lol.

We work on Toros all the time with time type of blade adjustment but I have never seen what you are talking about. Can you upload a photo of one?
