Planned downtime

Our upstream provider will be performing maintenance on its main power distribution unit on Thursday the 10th of June 2004 from 12:01 AM to 6:00 AM CDT (Wednesday 11:01 PM to Thursday 5:00 AM EDT) and the LawnSite server, as well as the ad server, will be turned off during that period. The downtime should last anywhere from 30 minutes to six hours, although we sure hope that it will be the shortest possible.

I will be making complete remote backups in the next few days as an extra precaution.

LawnSite should be back to life on Thursday morning. This maintenance operation does not affect PlowSite as it is hosted in a different datacenter.

I received a notice saying that the maintenance has been postponed to the 17th, so the server will stay up during the night.
