From what I can see, before they had saucers to retain any water they'd get, now they have mini vulcanoes. I hope you didn't put the mulch too thick against the bvase of the trunks or you're opening a large can of worms!

After the trees were planted, I went back to them and negotiated a $400.00 per month increase for the growing season which will carry through end of October.
This accounts for the extra time for mowing and the inevitable weed control. Mulch is extra.

No. The mulch is only 2 inches depth. The trees were planted high and soil mounded around them.
