First stripes.......

Here is a pic of my first stripes using my JD SST16 and a big league lawn roller. Striping is tough. You have to actually remember where and what direction you previously cut and don't go over the wrong spot for fear of ruining your stripe

Any good tutoirials on how to perfect this?

what heigtht is the lawn cut at?

It's cut at 3". I fertilized and replaced a few sprinkler heads before I cut it so you can see some other marks in the grass.

I like the lawn color better than the stripes, but they are nice stripes btw.

I have to agree, they are a bit sad in comparison to some other pics I've seen but part of the problem was that I replaced all the sprinkler heads and fertilized so I mashed it down pretty good before I cut. Practice makes perfect though :-)

Very nice cut and stripes to match. I would go up to 3.5" tho.

Nice stripes. Try and have the sun behind you so it will brighten up the stripes
