Largest Fall Clean up bill this year

I went and looked at what would be the largest and most challenging leaf job this morning. Looks to be 35,000- 40,000 sf with a 3" blanket of leaves. I have a woodline to work with and priced it at $720. I'm hoping I can have it done in 7 hours. If it takes 10.. I'd still be okay.

Nice house, looks like alot of fun cleaning that one up



Mine is about .5 acre. Lots of trees on side yard. Backyard is small with pool. Takes me about 2 hours to mulch leaves and then bag. I do it about 5 times through the fall and winter and charge them about 150 per cleanup.

$4,200 for a cemetary. 20 yards of leaves. 3 days for nine guys. Extra time for sucking up all the leaves. We have already done it once, we get to have another 3 day affair after thanksgiving.

damn 200+ labor hours... how much do you pay your guys?

our biggest was a 3/4 acre property, with leaf removal, bed clean-outs, vegetable garden clearing/till, and hedge trimming. 35 man hours, $2k.

I cut them a break and charged only 950 I could not charged 1200 since the truck got filled and ate some hours getting in dumped. That ground cover is nasty but you have not lived too you do beds that cover 3/4ths of a 1 acre lawn where at the thickest they are 40 feet deep. And instead of the wussy stuff I saw in the pics the plants are mature 15 feet tall hollies and rodies 40 foot tall blue atlas cedars everything is huge. Now keep that in mind and then have them grow into each other and you have found a new meaning of hell.

These are Long Island wages , I would have thought double that or more..... Up here in the sticks nobody works for 8 dollars
