How would you want your Mulch spreader to look like?
I built a mulch spreader and am not too happy with the spreading results. Some of the mulch ends up falling into the grass area (3-4 inches wide). The intend is to reduce manpower ($) but we loose too much time moving the spilt mulch into the bed. It is basically a small manure spreader (mounted sideways) that can hold between 1000 to 1800 and can be moved by a 20 horsepower lawn/garden tractor.
What, if you could build something in the $2000.00 range, would you want this mulcher to do to save you labor expenses?
