Can someone help me understand the features I should be looking at when comparing sprayer types for 40 acre farm. My choices seem to be external gasoline powered pump or PTO driven from my compact tractor. The tractor alternative is attractive because I can just pick it up with 3point and hook to pto. Boom folds down and I'm off.

The other type would have to be wheeled to pull behind a Mule or on skid placed in the Mule bed. Mule would be better on finished 4-6 acre lawn areas but tractor is OK if not too wet.

I'm taking pesticide class in March but need to spray some RoundUp, etc., soon. How long can I leave a roundup mix in the tank without problems? Thanks for your info. Will
