Newsletters

I tried this thread in commercial lawn care, got no response. So, let's try it again.

We all ponder the importance of keeping our names out there. It is, without a doubt, important to maintain awareness of our companies' names, after all.

Have you ever thought about using a newsletter to help spread your company's name and credibility? If so, what sort of ideas have you tossed around when thinking about a newsletter?

I'm not asking for my own purposes just yet. At some point, I will do a newsletter, but not this year.

I'm just trying to get a feel for what most LCOs think of newsletters and, for those that do publish newsletters, what they feel is the true benefit of doing so.

Hi Mark McC,

Benefits of publishing a newsletter

Here is a quote from this site that may be helpful.

Quote:

Provide valuable information about your business and services.

Highlight benefits your clients receive by doing business with you.

Establish creditability and authority, and build customer loyalty.

Greatly enhance your company's reputation.

Demonstrate your company's permanence, reliability and consistency.

Help (soft) sell your product or service.

Give your company added exposure, thereby increasing your chances for new business.
