I have a customer that has 5 apple trees. Earlier in the spring, I trimmed the base suckers down below ground level. At present the suckers are starting to come up again. What can I do or use to kill the suckers without harming the tree? Any help is greatly appreciated.
----------
--Disneyland on the Potomac
dhicks--I don't know a thing about apple tree suckers but tobacco growers use an oil on the plant to kill the sucker. it works.
I like how that sounds:"KILL DA SUCCKA!"
time to get some sleep.
GEO
