Spring Clean up Rates SD.

1st year doing commercial accounts and the bidding for different co. can be difficult. Up until now I have usually bid on the job's but only cause they've been smaller residential. I now have bid sheets that are asking for spring/fall clean up cost per hour and landscape maintenance hourly rates(I assume this means shrub trimming?) Is there a good average rate that seems to be the norm for this area for these services? I am a one man crew w/ a 1 ton dump truck, stihl magnum leaf blowers and trimmers, Exmark 52" ztr if that helps.
I have also been bidding lawn mowing for the commercial @ About $2.00 sq ft- sound close? Thanks for your help!

$2.00 a square foot sounds a bit high 1,000 square feet would bring you $2,000. I wish I could get that for lawn mowing.

2.00 p 1k your way to low, we get about 4.50 per 1k. This is assuming your working around the Sioux Falls area, not sure about other area's. For hourly work we bill out at 65.00 per hour. For shrubs we usually just charge $5.00 per small shrub and work our price up from there.

No I would not do a 10k lawn for $20. this is lower than our min. stop charge. The $2.00 per 1k sq ft I am considering for an amount for commercial. This seems to be where my competition is at. Are you using $4.50 in both commercial & res. or just res.?
Is 65.00 an hr a competitive rate for commercial bidsfor fall clean up? The reason I'm asking is the bids I am doing are asking for hourly rate and estimated time so I just can't say $300 for fall clean up or $5.00 per shrub. CAN YOU HELP?
