Would A Backhoe Rip Out Sidewalk?

I may bid on a sidewalk replacement job and I have a Kubota L3430 with backhoe. Haven't tried it on concrete yet and was wondering if it would be fast enough to use.

Still winter here in Michigan (and may be forever, who knows?) I see most people talk about a hydraulic breaker, but the sidewalks are only 4" X 48" so I think I can just dig them out with the backhoe.

absolutely, we have only a b-21 with a hoe and it pops it right out. You'll have no problem

It will actually work better than a skid loader. You have the right equip. for that type of job.

If it is 4" thick, my L-35 doesn't have any problems. However, if it is 8" thick or more, I sub it out.
