I think our laser level was an RL3H, but don't remember for sure. I don't know what the grade laser is...

As far as service, we haven't had any problems with either unit, other than running out of juice in the batteries at an inconvient time. We have a good, servicing dealer a little more than an hour away, and wouldn't you know it, these things are expensive enough that they have salesmen running around! If we ever have a problem, chances are that our salesman would come out and drop off a loner and take ours back for service.
