Opinion - B+S 14.5 hp or kohler courage 15 hp
Which Do you think is a better engine?

Briggs seem to better with the lower HP engines like that. I'd go with the Intek as parts are easier to find and Briggs in general are easier to work on.

I'd take a Kohler over a Briggs anyday although I don't really know anything about the Courage. I know its a brand new engine that hasn't been out long and the Intek is a proven engine so I don't know.

Thanks all
ok well since I do know the briggs engines and the Intek is a proven model and the Kohler is 150 dollars more, I suspect I will stick with the tried and true. It is hard to justify the bump in price for a mere 1 horse gain on an unknown engine.
