Anyone ever sell used plants?

I in the process of setting up a big landscape refurbish job for some apartments. They want the main entrance completely taken up and redone with different plants. There are about 200 Indian Hawthorn and Japanese Holly in the beds at the moment. I was thinking of ways to reuse them because they are $15-$20 each locally.
I think I am going to start by mailing postcards to my current customers (free plants with mulch installation).
Any of you guys ever do this?

i have been the one to take the plants most times, but the thought has crossed my mind, i dont see how it could fail real;y and you might be able to get some money off the plants if you try.

"used" plants

I'm sorry...
But it is funny.

Way I do it if I like the plants, I take them home, and plant them in my own yard.
Then years later if they're in good enough shape and someone requests one, I sell them some of my own.

You can't do it with just any plant either thou, has a lot to do with the root system.
Well...
At least I'm not uprooting no dang boxwoods lol

I would think there might nursery licensing considerations to ponder before reselling plants, be from nursery stock or something removed of a landscape to be replanted in a new different landscape.

As long as you have the correct licenses in place and u feel good about the product u are installing and feel comfortable attaching your name to that job/customer, i say why not. You have to have a license here to plant/buy/resell trees, shrubs, bushes. Good luck with the promo. Let us know how it goes. Some are more like certificates, but to sell them and have a nursery its a lic.
