1996 Ryan Lawnaire 28 under $2k, 25hrs - Worth it?

Hi, I was wondering if any of your can comment on the Ryan Lawnaire 28 Aerator. I have a chance to get one that is in mint condition and only has 25hrs on it. It is a 1996. I know it is older, but it was used by a person on his residential lot so the hours make sense. I would be using it for residential lots, good sizes and down the line commercial. You think this is worth it or would I be better off getting something newer? If you think the latter part, what would you suggest? I want something self-propelled.

Thanks in advance!!

Isn't a new one just a few hundred dollars more? I bought 2 used ones that we 2 years old for $1700 for BOTH...both with low usage on them...that deal sounds sketchy...
