Thoughts on striping kits

Hey guys i know its easy to find a striping kit for a ztr or a wb but how about a 21 or 22inch push? I found the Lawn Striping System by Lawn Stryper and i was wondering what people thought or if they use it or if they use something else.

I have a big league striper for my 21 but I took it off because it was so heavy and frequently got in the way and would catch in the shrubbery beds when turning. If you want to stripe with a 21 buy a mower that will stripe on its own the rollers are huge burden and i can imagine that you will wear your mowers drivetrain out from all thew extra weight and resistance.

You would be spending a lot of time for little result or monetary compensation.

I totally agree with you about the wear on the mower and it can be a pain but i have seen some pictures of people who use a kit for their push and it just looks amazing. what are your thoughts on good mowers? I need to buy a new one because my ariens is on its way out
