I don't know about y'all, but the return rates on fall flyers seem like they'd be a little low.

grassmonkey can we have an update on your cost per new client, or your number sent compared to what jobs you received?

Thanks

Well, unless I get a decent amount of jobs going forward, I won't do fall flyers anymore.

I had a total of 2,000 handed out, cost me $220 to have them handed out, and $68 to print/ship to me. I still have 3,000 left that I may have handed out this week just to get them out of my office.

Out of the 2,000 I got 2 jobs. One was for mowing, the other was a simple cleanup/mulch job. I came out a couple bucks ahead, but not a significant amount.

Now before everyone harps on it, I know 2,000 isn't a lot at all. BUT, I was watching the website traffic and it didn't generate too much. Not even emails with questions. So I stopped it at 2,000 and focused more on other things.

I'm going to go pass some fall-themed doorhangers out! Never stop marketing! I might not get any jobs of them, but I've got them laying around anyway, so might as well get rid of them.

I'm taking your approach. I contacted some people and I'll be sending the rest out. Hopefully I'll come out ahead!!

Tell me about it. Close to 80 today, rain yesterday and tomorrow. The leaves are falling so I figured it will at least get into peoples heads.

The rain is what messes people up. No one cares about their landscaping when is raining lol

I work on 301 in Gambrills now. But the economy sucks so bad up here I'm going back down to dunkirk

I'm expanding into Crofton next year with not-so-high-hopes. The PG County hood rats are moving to Crofton because of the "wealthier" feel to it. The next few years will be interesting watching it decline and crumble.

Whats going on in Gambrills? Never really been there before, but I heard its more of a blue collar town where everyone does the work themselves.

I took a full time job up here for a large national chain.

Hopefully in 2 weeks I'll be back in dunkirk. It's an hour commute for me up here

Gamrbills is right past crofton. Was supposed to be more money up here. Yeah right lol
