i get a chuckle out of neighbors

I have neighbours of customers that give me little chuckles. One mows about 2 strips over into my customers yard, but in the back there a strip about 40" wide that leads to a compost pile shared by both. Will he mow the whole thing? Nope, just two swipes over about a 100' long and won't mow the 20" x 3' area. Another location is a neighbor will mow his lawn short in the heat of the day burning it. Then drags his sprinklers out and over waters. Today I had to mow through a lake in my customers yard. The neighbors yard sits higher. There was a water fall over the curb in my customers yard. I also have several who have to run and mow thier yard when I'm there. Anyone else have goofy neighbours?

All the time. What makes me laugh the most is the hosue next door to mine is cut by one guy, who will make his turns in my yard and fu(k it all up, but he will leave a 6" strip literally on the house 2 houses down. The 6" strip of grass borders the driveway. He wont turn around on that driveway down there, but will turn around in my yard and screw it all up. I just have to sit back and laugh. Hoepfully next season I will take both yards over and not have anything to worry about

I have a crappy rental property in the city where the neighbor (owner or LCO - I don't know) cuts about two feet INSIDE their property line. I suppose they expect that I will cut all the way over to where THEY cut along the property, but there are two stakes clearly indicating the property line and THAT is where I cut to - leaving a swath of foot-tall grass between the two yards.

They are slowly getting the hint, but they STILL won't cut all the way over. Oh well.

My one neighbor doesn't have a lawn or any grass for that matter, it's a jungle. If you drove by and looked, you'd think it's a foreclosure! The other guy thinks it's better to cut the grass at night after dark so in mid summer he's out there at 10pm on his box store riding mower cutting it down to nothing leaving PILES of grass all over the lawn. Then in the front he rides right into the street and the mower DUMPS clippings all over the place every time he turns around. Mind you, it's late already and the grass has dew already built up and is damp so the mess he makes is just stupid. The next morning I go to leave and the entire front of his house on the road is small piles of clippings smashed down by the cars going by.

I have what I call a coach potato next door. The last time I saw him was in May. In Febuary I offered to loan him My sprayer mix with atrazine to spray. I told him it would kill off his weeds before they appeared etc. Well he said its to cold. In may He came over and asked could he use the spray rig I said sure but atrazine will kill your grass, so he went to the co-op and bought some chemical to spray when he was finished I asked what did you use "oh some weed killer and grass killer" I said grass killer yea the dude said it would kill unwanted grasses. Well its August and he has one of the best dirt yard n the county.

This is SOP for most homeowners apparently.

I just realized it was about neighbors of customers. Can't help you there. I don't have any weird neighbors living next to my customers. Most are super friendly and want to talk. I just say high and move on unless I have enough time to burn.

I have one that will get out on his Craftsman mower and try to match the stripes i put on my customers lawn, he goes back and forth over the same area 2 times and moves on, he is also forever cutting over onto my customers property, doing a 3 point turn on my fresh cut!
