I would still go with the 50 for what you are going to use it for. You say the 50 was used as a personal mower? His ad says ten extra set of blades, thats a lot of blades for homeowner use.

That kinda had me concerned too. That is a lot of blades for someone who was only mowing his personal yard. Overall it looked to be in pretty good shape, it definitely looked better in the pictures. But yeah for me I'm just kind of taking my time and trying to find something that won't be a money pit from day one. I'll be home from the army in a few more weeks and would just kind of like to ease back into the business while working a part time job till my business is going strong enough to not need the part time job anymore. I appreciate the feedback ztman!! I'm glad I found a site where I can get some opinions from other people in the business.

If you are just doing small yards, take a look at the gravely zt with a 48" deck.

Yeah that's a good point. The smaller deck would be nice if I had to go through any fences to mow a backyard too. How are the gravelys? They look really nice.
