Afters.... Originally the wall wasnt going to be set so far back. Once the customer realized they gained more lawn we moved it farther back. They also decided to get rid of them awful steps. unfortuanlly that left us with a path to no were but we can always rip that up at a later time.

Looks good. Seem like a strange decision to only run the wall part way. And what is all that fill behind the wall? Definitely a perfect example of an useable back yard.

Good to see you in here ed you do great work. As usual the wall not being finished all the way to the right was money based. We were 1000 over budget as it looks now after they added length and height to wall as well as setting it back. We're it was to be placed before it would have been 3 courses high. When they moved it back it went up to 4-5 block high in some spots they also had us put barn stone on the right side past the walk way. That wasn't in the plans either as we we're suppose to only do left side so to answer your question that is why they did not finish the wall to the right. As for the fill my friend it's like any other wall the first course is compacted 2a behind it as well as in front. After that point it is 2b ( drive way stone depending on what y'all down south call it). All the way up to top of last course then we put down landscape fabric and continued the large sea shore border
