We have a autumn blaze maple in a wet area and it is thriving well. Now that's it is bigger it doesn't seem as wet anymore.

You don't necessarily just want a tree that will live in the wet.

You want one to solve the wet problem.

Willow is perfect for that, well known to make soggy land dry. They are very thirsty trees.
