No telling how many FAR air wrachets Ive bought, I still have 2. They are the most powerful thing you can hold on to, but in day in and day out use they didn't last long, I kept 3 or 4 because 2 stayed in the Snapon repair program which is a joke.

As far as convenience I can order tools on line and get them in 2 days, or I can order them off a tool truck and pay 7 to 8 times more and have them order the tools, which I may get in a week or a month and in many cases never.

Sounds like you had a shitty dealer

But I guess when you spend 10 grand a year with your tool dealer they'll like you

Plus at this point in my life its not worth investing in expensive tools, I think my lawn truck eats tool for a snack or something.

I had a lot of shitty dealers, most of my expensive tools were bought in the first 2 years that I turned wrenches. I also bought a retiring mechanics complete tool box. I had and still have more tools than most tool trucks.

Now I need a occaiosional special tool, and I buy Harbor Freight or online, as most of the time it will be used once or twice.

The best value in tools right now is SK, theres several vendors on line and their about 80% less than Snapon and are of equil and often better quality than sanpon.

Remember I haven't turned wrenches in a dealership in nearly 20 years.
