Not talking about being lazy, but is it something the owners have expressed concern about or are you doing it from your personal aesthetics?

I'd go with stick edge method, then maintain.

The owners have not said a word about it, I just want to make it look as good as possible. I've only done the place one time now, I was just wondering what the standard for the industry is. To define the edge, it will probably take me a solid half hour or more. It's about 200' worth.

Some commercial properties we have (mining industry, fabrication, etc...) could care less, they just want the "grass cut". While others that have a public presence want a more manicured look. The ones who have stated to us that they just want the grass cut have let it be known they just want mowing, and what trimming is needed.

Talked to my buddy (the previous LCO), and he said they just expect the place to be mowed and trimmed as needed with no special edging. Thanks for all the help, folks.
