So what the the main reason for not buying it? They seem perfect for anybody wanting to keep mowers inside and could use a spot for leaves etc. I would NEVER put leaves in an enclosed trailer.

Yes your correct. The purpose of the open area is for things you would use an open trailer for. Like logs from a tree, branches, leaves or debris. Why have 2 trailers and pay for 2 of everything when you could have a two in one? My only problem with one of these is if the open area is full how would you get mowers and equipment out of the enclosed? I would have a side ramp made. I have scene these but with the enclosed at the rear and the open at the front. I kind of like that better.

They look ugly as sin! The open/dump bed combo ones I've seen online look pretty cool and functional
