how to recover grass from the drought
My biggest customer seems to have grass that is not recovering.
what can be done to help the grass get growing again. I did let the grass germinate and drop the seeds, but now that we are getting rain it still seems it is not growing back. thanks |

Letting grass germinate and drop seeds does nothing to bring a lawn back to life.
And what do you mean by the lawn is not recovering? Did the lawn go dormant? Or was the lawn allowed to burn up bad enough to die? What is being done to the lawn to bring it back? |

Stay off it and don't cut till it comes back after its been raining. Then take the loss in cuts ,

grass germinates in a drought so if it does die there are seeds tha twill cause it to grow back eventualy. but yes it seems that it has stayed dry adn hot so long that the grass is dead.
there isnt anything being done to bring it back. but it has rained well enough that other places the grass is green again and starting to grow. but this one yard. a big yard. doesnt have much growing anywhere accept the bottom of the hill where its shaded. |

Germinate, happens only to seed... dormancy,, is hopefully what your turf has done...
being on a slope may only mean that it has not yet recieved adequate moisture from the rain that you did get... water is likely running down, rather than soaking in... you still have plenty of time to overseed so leave it alone until the drought is over...
