Bed Liners - Rhino Lining

I wasn't sure where to ask this but I have a question about rhino liners.

My new truck already has one. It looks very nice but if I put heavy equipment on there it won't slide at all. My old truck had a plastic bed liner and I could drag heavy equipment on it and it would slide easily. I'm scared to try dragging equipment with sharp edges or any metal on the rhino lining in fear that it might rip because the traction is so high. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is the liner likely to tear from dragging heavy equipment on it?

It will tear and gouge. You can put a bed mat on it to help some. But its design is to keep things from sliding. I've put a sheet of plywood down and it helps too.

Thanks for your reply. The rhino lining looks phenomenal, but I prefer the functionality of the plastic bed.

Find a sheet of 1/4in plastic that can hold up to some abuse and cut it to fit.

Rhino liners are for protecting the bed from scratches not from a load sliding around. It certainly does the trick though.
